Das Zeichen für geprüfte Sicherheit ist das einzige, gesetzlich geregelte Prüfzeichen in Europa für Produktsicherheit mit internationaler Anerkennung. Dieses hochwertige Prüfsiegel wird nur an Produkte vergeben, die Anforderungen erfüllen, welche über das gesetzliche Maß hinausgehen. Bei der GS-Prüfung steht nicht nur das Pro- dukt im Mittelpunkt, sondern auch bei seiner Fertigungs- stätte wird durch die GS-Stelle eine jährliche Inspektion durchgeführt, Proben der Produkte untersucht und auf die Qualitätssicherung geachtet. When it comes to the testing of our GS-certified products, we have a long-standing close relationship with two in- dependent product testing institutions - TÜV Rheinland and Hermes Hansecontrol. The „safety tested/certified“ label is the only test label in Europe for product safety that is governed by statute and accredited internationally. The seal of approval is difficult to obtain, since it is only awarded for products which meet requirements that go beyond the statutory standards. Not only does the GS testing process focus on the product, the GS agency also subjects the production site to annual inspections, examineds product samples and verifies the quality assurance process. STANDARD 100 BY OEKO-TEX ® STANDARD 100 BY OEKO-TEX ® Nach Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX ® zertifizierte Artikel bieten dem Verbraucher umfassende Sicherheit im Hinblick auf die Unbedenklichkeit der Textilien. Voraussetzung für die OEKO-TEX ® Produktzertifizierung ist, dass sämtliche Bestandteile eines Artikels ausnahmslos den geforderten Prüfkriterien entsprechen – also neben dem Oberstoff des Artikels auch Näh- und Stickgarne, Zubehörteile wie Augen, Pellets und Drucke. Die Kriterien der OEKO-TEX ® Schad- stoffprüfungen werden jährlich aktualisiert und sind somit immer up to date in Bezug auf gesetzliche Vorgaben und neueste wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse. Die OEKO-TEX ® Prüfkriterien gelten weltweit einheitlich. Insofern ist es un- abhängig, wo die zertifizierten Produkte hergestellt wurden. Die OEKO-TEX ® Labortests berücksichtigen außerdem alle denkbaren Aufnahmewege, wie Schadstoffe in den Körper gelangen können. Products certified pursuant to Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX ® ensure comprehensive consumer safety since it ensures that only fabrics/textile materials that are completely harmless are used. It is mandatory that all components of any product awarded the OEKO-TEX ® product certification meet every stipulated test criterion without exception. This means that not only to top fabric of the product, but also all sewing threads and stitching yarns, accessories such as the eyes, pellets and prints are in compliance with these standards. The OEKO-TEX ® contaminant test criteria are up- dated annually and are therefore always up-to-date as far as the statutory requirements and latest scientific findings are concerned. The OEKO-TEX ® test criteria apply uniformly around the globe. Hence, the production location of certi- fied products is irrelevant. Moreover, OEKO-TEX ® laboratory tests take into account every possible way, contaminants may penetrate the human body. Das toy-proof-Zeichen wird nach umfassenden Prüfungen sowohl physikalisch-mechanischer als auch chemischer Ei- genschaften dem Qualitätsspielzeug vergeben. Es bestätigt, dass das Produkt den grundsätzlichen Sicherheitsanforde- rungen der EU-Spielzeugrichtlinie entspricht, wobei Min- destanforderungen an Funktionalität und Verarbeitungs- qualität berücksichtigt werden. Der TÜV achtet bei seinen Prüfungen drauf, dass die getesteten Spielwaren nicht nur der EU-Norm DIN EN 71 entsprechen, sondern unterzieht jedem Spielzeug einem zusätzlichen Schadstoff-Test, der über die gesetzlichen Vorgaben hinaus geht. Zum Erzielen einer konstanten Qualität findet eine jährliche, neutrale Fertigungsüberprüfung statt. The toy-proof label is awarded only after comprehensive testing of both, the physical-mechanical and the chemical properties of high quality toys. It confirms that the product meets the fundamental safety mandates of the EU Toy Directive. In this context, it takes into consideration defi- ned minimum requirements related to functionality and processing quality of the products. When conducting its tests, the TÜV ensures that tested toys do not only meet the provisions of EU Standard DIN EN 71, but also subjects each toy to an additional test for contaminants that exceeds the statutory mandates. In order to attain consistent quality levels, the institution also conducts annual, impartial production site audits.
